Workshop Activity Descriptions

Bible Work
Have you ever longed for a way to reach out to your community? Learn how to find new Bible study contacts and give a short Bible study to bring courage, light, and hope to searching hearts. You’ll learn how to recognize when God is working on their hearts and how to use God’s word to help them make a decision

Prayer Ministry
Why is it easier to talk to an earthly friend than to God? How can I hear God’s voice? Does God answer our prayers? Sometimes your prayer life might feel a little boring or like you’re stuck in a rut. In this class, we will answer these questions and more. On Sabbath, we will participate in outreach in the community. Your prayer life will be recharged after this workshop.

Child Evangelism
Discover the joy of bringing the gospel to the most receptive audience: children! You’ll discover ways to reach the minds and hearts of kids at home or in the mission field. Put your new skills to work in a Sabbath afternoon program for the local children

Literature Evangelism

You—yes, you—can be an effective colporteur! After practicing your skills in the classroom, you will go out into the community for some real door-to-door experience on Sabbath! Expect to spread blessings!

Quilling

It’s a great way to build confidence under the hood and save money on simple repairs. To make sure everyone has a great experience, this class is limited to 15 people.
